About Us
DNA tested
All of our Dams & Sires have had full DNA testing completed before breeding. We use Orivet DNA testers.
ICBOO can guarantee that none of our puppies will develop any breed-specific testable genetic diseases. Without DNA testing you don’t know what hidden genetic diseases a dog is passing onto their puppies. We will never breed from a dog with health issues such as like heart murmurs, epilepsy, skin disorders etc – our parent dogs do not have any known health problems.
Care
All of our canines spend their days playing with each other and with their toys on grass areas in the sunshine with plenty of room to play and explore.
Our breeding pack are much loved pets and receive plenty of cuddles and attention not to mention regular grooming and clipping. All of our canines are all up to date with their vaccinations, worming and flea treatments and receive prompt veterinary attention if the need arises.
We do NOT keep our canines in small individual cages, confined to small areas or separated from each other. They share a large enclosure that is a communal living space which is weather factored to ensure a happy and enjoyable environment.
Our puppies are raised in purposely designed puppy areas with climbing obstacles, toys and permanent access to grass areas and sunshine.
For the first 4 weeks our litters are born and raised indoors and once weaned they are transitioned to their puppy enclosure. Our puppy enclosures not only help with housetraining, but also promotes physical, social and mental development. ICBOO exceeds the Standards of Welfare of our breeding canines and their litters which is a requirement if Breeding NSW Australia.
Your perfect match
Having years of experience with companion pets and being certified in dog behaviour and psychology, pet care and companion therapy training makes a great choice to adopt an Inverness OODLE.
Our aim is to always match the right canine with the right family and its environment, this is a most important goal for us and a puppy. We are happy to help guide you in picking the right puppy for your situation.
The more we know about your environment and expectations, the better we can help pick the perfect puppy for you.
With the help of our puppy questionnaire, we are able to choose: the right energy level, temperament (which is in the end a more important thing than colour) and colour. Colour is a bonus – but should never be your main consideration when choosing your new family member.
Companion Pet Consideration
Our breeding program is a mindful program where we only breed companion pets for families. Our goal has been to breed healthy canines, with wonderful temperaments, emotionally / socially and psychologically stable.
Transportation
Depending on the state you come from we can organise transport for your puppy using various pet transport companies. We can organise the transporter for you or you can organise your own and for those that reside interstate from us we can arrange jet-pet to fly your puppy to any state in Australia from the age of 12 weeks.
All transporting whether land or air, is at the buyer’s expense. Approximate land transport cost is usually discussed during the puppy adoption process.
Viewing your puppy
Yes of course you are most welcome to come and view the puppies when deciding which one is perfect for you. You are welcome to have a friend or family member view the puppy on your behalf. We ask that you book an appointment to view. We also ask that you don’t bring a large group of people with you and lastly please leave your current dog at home. This is to protect our puppies and make sure everyone’s viewing experience is pleasurable.
We will endeavour to use all means and media sources at our disposal so you can select and be kept updated on your chosen pups growth and development.
Media forms used are: using face time, email, video conferencing, videos and photography.
